The Pong Blog: TVB Event at Splendid China Tower

Summer vacation is over now and it's time for school once again. Though it sucked that i had to take 5 summer courses, the cruise trip made up for it. I posted pictures on my facebook, so i won't put them here. There's not much to say about the trip anyway. There was a lot of eating and a decent amount of drinking. Aside from losing $100 in the casino, i had a great time. Not often do we get the chance to get together with all our relatives for vacation.

Anyway, the purpose of this blog is on the TVB event i went to today at the Splendid China Tower. TVB's Angela Tong (湯盈盈), Shirley Yeung (楊思琦), Sunny Chen (陳錦鴻) and Michael Tse (謝天華) held an autograph session there. For those who don't know, these are some of the stars that appear in HK's TV series, and they are extremely popular amongst viewers.

The crew handed out passes to the public at 7pm, and so i started lining up around 6: 20. People with passes were given seats during the conference and were given autographed pics of each star.. The stars arrived at 8 and the whole thing lasted about 30 minutes. They just arrived from Calgary where they did another show, so i'm guessing they're exhausted. It is part of a small Canada tour, were they stopped over in vancouver and calgary. Overall it was a good experience. However, i am quite disappointed that I didn't get to have my picture taken with any of them since i lacked a photographer. This marks the first time I ever met TVB stars in person. Though i did meet with Andy Lau before when i was 11.
